EQV Group aims to translate established and upcoming Australian and international research output into products which enable people, "to be, rather than seem to be" — the English translation of the Latin motto, 'Esse Quam Videri'. This underpins each output of the company.
Our first endeavour is an AI-assisted EdTech tool which aims to support teachers' ability to understand their learners' engagement and comprehension of topics taught in class, with the goal of boosting student confidence, engagement and perseverance in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Our differentiator is our tool's reliance on teacher agency and its academic underpinnings in co-regulation and self-regulated learning, student-teacher relationships, teacher workload, and the role and impact of educational technologies in the classroom.
